and benzoic acid of Radix Paeoniae Rubra of different origins of wild and cultivation were compared by HPLC. Method: A agilent zorbax C18(4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm)was used with the mobile phase of acetonitrile- 0.02% phosphoric acid solution
gradient elution. The detection wavelength were 230 nm and 270 nm respectively.Column temperature is 30 ℃. The injection volume is 10 μL. Result: The content of catechin
gallic acid
paeoniflorin and benzoic acid in wild Radix Paeoniae Rubra were 0.008 35%- 0.143%
0.024 2%- 0.675%
2.23%- 8.03%
0.033 2%- 0.152% respectively
in cultivated Radix Paeoniae Rubra were 0.006 26%- 0.0523%
0.114%- 0.516%
1.57%- 4.18%
0.032 5%- 0.115% respectively. Cultivated Radix Paeoniae Rubra of Daqing and Lishu have no significant differernce with wild Radix Paeoniae Rubra. Conclusion: Suggest Paeoniflorin and catechin as the indicative components of evaluateing genuine medicinal materials. Heilongjiang and Jilin were the suited area for cultivating Radix Paeoniae Rubra.
