Abstract
Objective: To establish a method for the determination of cholic acid in the compound preparation Ganxianxiao Granules. Method: HPLC-ELSD was used in the quantitative analysis with the condition as follows. Alltima C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) was used as column; mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.3%HAc (40∶60); the temperature of column was at 35 ℃; flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1
the temperature of evaporator tube was set at 100 ℃; carrier gas flow was 2.6 L ·min-1 and the injection volume was 20 μL
calculating the content with logarithmic equation of external standard. Result: Cholic acid was linear in the range of 2.052~32.832 μg (r=0.999 2). The average recovery of high

low concentration in Ganxianxiao Granules was 97.1%

reliable

and could be used to control the quality of the compound preparation Ganxianxiao Granules.
