Radix Scutellariae

and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata cum Melle together and to extract Rhizoma Coptidis alone. Radix Puerariae Lobatae

Radix Scutellariae

and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata cum Melle were weighed in proportion

and were extracted for 1.5 h twice with 10 times and 8 times water

respectively. Rhizoma Coptidis was weighed and extracted for 1.5 h twice with 12 times and 10 times water

respectively. Conclusion: The extraction of the active components of puerarin

baicalin and berberine from Gegen Qinlian dispensing granule was satisfactory.
