Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Jinshuibao capsule and domiciliary oxygen therapy nourishing therapy and its influence on nutritive index and lung function and quality of life (QOL) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at stationary phase. Method: 85cases of stable stage of COPD(Lung Kidney Concurrent Deficiency) were divided into the treatment group(Jinshuibao capsule and domiciliary oxygen therapy) and the control group(domiciliary oxygen therapy). Both two groups were given oxygen supplement more than 15 hours a day. The treatment group was given Jinshuibao capsule.The two groups were treated for six months.Then to observe the improvement condition of clinical symptoms and lung function and quality of life in both groups before and after treatment. Result: The two groups improved clinical symptoms and lung function.The effect of treatment group(92.68%) was better than the control group (56.41%). The treatment group can improve clinical symptoms on cough、expectoration and pant. The effect of treatment group was better than the control group on stable and impovemet of lung function. Quality of life on somatesthesia and physiological function were very significantily raised in the treatment group. Conclusion: Jinshuibao capsule and domiciliary oxygen can improve clinical symptoms and stabilize lung function and enhance quality of life.
