Abstract
Objective: To explore the quality control standard of Alpinia officiarum Formula Granules and to provide reference for it. Method : TLC was used to identify Alpinia officiarum Formula Granules in different batches. HPLC was used for the determination of galangin and kaempferol. The chromatographic column was phenomenex Gemini C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm); the mobile phases were methanol-0.4% phosphoric acid (58 ∶42); the detection wavelength was set at 360 nm; the flow rate was at 1.0 mL ·min-1 and the column temperature was at 30 ℃ respectively. Result : The TLC spots were clear and well divided. Galangin was linear in the range of (0.104~1.044)μg

and the average recovery was 98.05% with RSD=1.96% (n=6); Kaempferol was also linear in the range of(2.2~21.6)ng

and the average recovery was 99.71% with RSD 1.86% (n=6). Conclusion : This method can be used as a quality control standards for Alpinia officiarum Formula Granules.
