Objective: To observe the role of Phellinus Linteus and Coriolus Versicolor Capsules(PLCVC)on anti-tumor and anti-metastasis in Lewis lung cancer tumor mice model. Methods : Lewis lung cancer cells were inoculated subcutaneously into right axillary of C57BL/6 mice

after continuous treatment of 21 d

removed tumor and weighed

and calculated the rate of tumor growth inhibition. We stripped lungs

fixed by Bouins solution

and counted colony number of metastases on the surface of the lungs and between the lobe under anatomical microscope. Results : High

medium and low doses of PLCVC inhibited significantly Lewis lung cancer tumor growth in the tumor-bearing mice (compared with the model group

P<0.05)

inhibitory rates were respectively 21.2%

21.0% and 24.6%. The colony number of metastases of high dose of PLCVC was less than the model group(P<0.05). Conclusion : PLCVC can inhibit significantly Lewis lung cancer tumor growth of the tumor-bearing mice

and inhibit lung metastases of Lewis lung tumor-bearing mice

and the effect of high dose is the most obvious.
