Objective: To establish the HPLC fingerprint of Tongsaimai pellet. Method :The separation was performed on Zorbax 80A Extend-C18(250 mm×4.6 mm

5 μm)column with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile water with 0.1% phosphoric acid by gradient elution mode at the flow rate of 0.7 mL·min-1. The detecti wavelength was at 276 nm.The column temperature was at 30 ℃

the data were processed by fingerprint similarity evaluation software. Results: A standard HPLC fingerprint for Tongsaimai pellet with 21 common peaks was established.The similarity of 10 batches of Tongsaimai pellet was not lower than 0.984

The adscription of 21 common peaks was by comparing single herb or negative preparation with Tongsaimai pellet. Conclusion : This method can be used for quality control of Tongsaimai pellet.
