Objective :To develop a RP-HPLC method for the determination of Geniposide in Qinggan Lidan capsule. Method :Diamonsil C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm

5 μm) was used

the mobile phase was acetonitrile-water(10 ∶90)at a flow rate of 1.0 mL · min-l. The UV detection wavelength was at 238 nm

and the column temperature was at 25 ℃. Result : The linear range was 0.054 48~1.634 4 μg ( r = 0.999 9)for Geniposide. The average recovery(n=6)was 99.77%. Conclusion :The method is found to be simple and accurate for analysis of Geniposide in Qinggan Lidan capsule.
