Objective: To study polar constituents of Mosla chinensis 'jiangxiangru’. Method: Silica gel column chromatography

Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography and MPLC were employed for the isolation and purification.The structures were identified on the basis of spectral data and chemical methods. Result: Six polar compounds were identified as follows:methyl-3-(3'

4'-dihydroxyphenyl)lactate(1)、corchoionoside C(2)、prunasin(3)、sambunigrin(4)、benzyl-D-glucopyranoside(5)and (s)-pencedanol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(6). Conclusion: These compounds were isolated for the first time from Mosla chinensis 'jiangxiangru’and have not been previously described in genus Mosla.
