Objective:To develop a RP-HPLC method for determindtion of baicalin in Aifukang capsule. Methods: The separation was performed on a Diamonsil C18 (250 mm×4.6 mm

5 μm)column with 4% phosphoric acid-methanol(58∶42) as the mobile phase.The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min and detection wavelength was set at 280 nm.Results: Within the range of 0.096 8～0.484 μg

baicalin showed a good linear relationship between the injection amounts and peak areas(Y=2.78×103X-4.13

r=0.999 7).The average recovery rate of baicalin was 99.7%

RSD 3.0%.Conclusion: This method is spectific

accurate

and repeatable.The method can be used for controlling the quality of Aifukang capsule.
