Objective:The volatile oil was extracted from the stem of Dioscorea hypoglauca Palibin firstly and the biological Activity was tested.Methods: Extract volatile oil from the stem of Dioscorea hypoglauca Palibin by steam distillation and the chemical constituents were analyzed by GC-MS method.The anti-tumor and antibacterial activities of the volatile oil were tested.Results: Seven constituents were identified.The main compounds include p-Xylene(7.601%)
