Objective:To observe the analgesic and anti-inflammation effects and possible mechanism of Total Saponins of Psammosilene tunicoids(TSPT).Method:After establishing adjuvant-induced arthritis(AA) rats model
the TSPT'S analgesic and anti-inflammation effects and mechanism against AA was studied through observing changes of the algesia threshold and contents of malondialdehyde(MDA) and Cor in inflammatory-tisssue soak of AA rats.Result:TSPT could inhibit algesia threshold and effectively decrease the content of MDA in inflammatory tissue soak of AA rats. Conclusion:TSPT has good analgesic and anti-inflammation effects and the mechanism is likely related to the decrease of MDA and regulation of Cor.
