Objective:To study the inhibitory effect and mechanism in Heps of mouse with Shuang Ling Fuzheng Kangai Capsule(SLFKC). Method:Mouse model of the solid tumor and ascitic cancer were established.The inhibitory rate of solid tumor and the life prolongation rate of ascites cancer were observed.The cell cycle and apoptosis of the solid tumor cells were measured by Flow Cytometry(FCM). Results:SLFKC(15 and 30g.kg-1.d-1) had significant restraning effect on Heps of mouse and the life of ascites cancer bearing mice was also prolonged. SLFKC could decrease the number of cells in S and G2-M phase and increase the number of cells in G0-G1 phase and the number of apoptosis cells. Conclusion:SLFKC has inhibiting effect on Heps of mouse. The anticancer mechanism was probably related to the synthesis of DNA during S phase

the interference with the speed of cell proliferdtion

and inducement of the apoptosis of cancerous cells.
