Objective: Search all studies that have been published in the world with regard to the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine on essential hypertension and analyze them by means of meta-analysis
in order to give some evidences for the doctors treating hypertension. Method: Evaluate strictly all the studies that have been searched and do meta-analysis in the eligible ones by the software RevMan5.1.Evaluate the curative effect of Traditional Chinese medicine on essential hypertension. Result: Totally 19 studies including 1 635 cases were analyzed.
