Objective: To establish a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for determination of ginsenoside Rg1 and Re in Shenmai injection of different manufacturers. Method: Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column (4.6 mm×150 mm
5 μm) was used with acetonitrile-water (19:81) as the mobile phase and the detection wavelength was set at 220 nm; the flow rate was 1 mL·min-1 and injection volume was 20 μL. Result: The calibration curves were linear in the range of 0.086-4.296 μg (r=0.999 9) for ginsenoside Rg1
0.050-2.480 μg (r=0.999 8) for ginsenoside Re. The average recovery of ginsenoside Rg1 was 99.7% (RSD 1.11%)
ginsenoside Re was 100.0% (RSD 1.32%). Conclusion: The method is simple
rapid
accurate and sensitive
which can be used for the determination of Shenmai injection.
