Flavonoids are widely existed in Chinese herbal medicine with 2-phenyl-chromone nucleus and C6-C3-C6 structure. In the past years

anti-oxidant

even anti-HIV and so on. These results demonstrate that flavonoids have a wide physiologic function and have great potential of development and application.This paper is a systematic review of the research advances of flavonoids and its derevatives in clinical application

pharmacodynamic mechanisms and SAR studies in the past years. The current review would provide some useful information for further study on flavonoids.
