Objective: To establish the method for the content determination of tilianin and glycyrrhizic acid in Abnormal Savda Munziq granules. Method: HPLC was adopted to determine the content of tilianin and glycyrrhizic acid. The column for Tilianin is Diamonsil C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm). The mobile phase was consisted of acetonitrile-0.5% formic acid (27:73) with the detection wavelength at 324 nm. The column temperature was set at 35℃ and the flow rate was set at 1.0 mL·min-1. The column for glycyrrhizic acid was Diamonsil C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm). The mobile phase was consisted of methanol-0.2 mol·L-1 ammonium acetate-glacial acetic acid (67:33:1) with the detection wavelength at 250 nm. The column temperature was kept at 30℃ and the flow rate was set at 1.0 mL·min-1. Result: There was good linearity between the peak area and concentration within the range of 1.14-114 μg (r=0.999 9) for tilianin and 20.6-206 μg (r=0.999 7)for glycyrrhizic acid respectively. Conclusion: The method is simple
accurate and specific for quality control of Abnormal Savda Munziq granules.
