Objective:To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of chlorogenic acid

jasminoidin and baicalin in Yinzhihuang dispersible tablets

and investigate in vitro dissolution characteristics of these three active components. Method: According to the 2010 edition of ‘Chinese Pharmacopoeia’

with distilled water was dissolution medium

the paddle method was used with rotate speed of 50 r·min-1

the content of these active components were determined by HPLC

the accumulative dissolution was calculated and the resemblance of dissolution curve was compared by similarity factors (f2). Result: Compared with chlorogenic acid

f2 of jasminoidin and baicalin were 89.23 and 48.35 in water

respectively;Compared with jasminoidin

f2 of baicalin was 46.98. Conclusion: Chlorogenic acid and jasminoidin from Yinzhihuang dispersible tablets had similar dissolution characteristics in distilled water

but baicalin was different from them.
