Abstract
Objective: To establish a UPLC and develop an UPLC fingerprint for the identification of Lycopodii Herba for controlling the drug quality quickly and accurately. Method: The UPLC fingerprint of ten batches of Lycopodii Herba and adulterants were determined on an Agilent ZORBAX RRHD Eclipse Plus C18 (2.1 mm×100 mm
1.8 μm) column eluted with the mobile phase consisted of methanol-acetonitrile (1:1)-water containing 0.05% phosphoric acid in gradient mode and the detection wavelength was at 256 nm
the flow rate of 0.1 mL·min-1. Result: The method of HPLC fingerprints was established and the 19 mutual peaks were indicated. The similar degrees of the ten batches were between 0.923-0.985.The similarities among the Lycopodii Herba and adulterants from different sources were obtained
there were apparent difference in fingerprint. Conclusion: The method is quick and accurate. The UPLC fingerprint of Lycopodii Herba with high specificity can be used to control the quality of Lycopodii Herba.
