Objective: To establish the chromatography fingerprint of the leaf of Dimocarpus longan by HPLC. Method: HPLC analysis was performed on a Hypersil C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) with the gradient eluting system consisted of methanol and 0.2% H3PO4.The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. The column temperature was maintained at 20 ℃ and the detection wavelength was set at 360 nm. The time of gradient elution was 90 min. Result: Ten samples of the leaf of D. longan in different origin of Guangxi were detected and eleven main marker peaks were selected in the standard fingerprint. The similarity of samples is all over 0.90. Conclusion: The HPLC fingerprint can be used for identification of the leaf of D. longan as well as quality control.
