Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine decoction combined with Xueshuantong in treatment of vitreous hemorrhage. Method: This study in 2011 January-2012 year in December admitted to the vitreous hemorrhage were randomly divided into study group and control group. The study group was treated with Chinese medicine decoction (Xuefu Zhuyu decoction) combined with Xueshuantong

and the control group were treated by Xueshuantong. The clinical efficacy and therapy time were compared between the two group. Result: After treatment

visual acuity of the study group was better than in the control group (P<0.05). Total efficiency of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The average treatment time of the study group was shorter than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Xueshuantong injection combined with syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine decoction (Xuefu Zhuyu decoction) oral can promote the absorption of vitreous hemorrhage

accelerate the absorption and accumulation of blood in the recovery of visual acuity

had curative effect

and was worthy of clinical use.
