Objective: Optimize alcohol precipitation process of polysaccharides from Aloe. Method: With yield of polysaccharides as index
orthogonal test was adopted to optimize alcohol precipitation process of polysaccharides from Aloe by taking alcohol precipitation time
alcohol precipitation concentration and concentration degree as factors.Sulfuric acid-phenol method was used to determine the content of polysaccharides from Aloe. Result: Optimum alcohol precipitation process was as following:alcohol precipitation time 6 h

concentration degree 1:2;The average yield of polysaccharides was up to 0.076% with the average purity of 57.37%. Conclusion: This optimized technology was stable and credible
it could be used for industrial production of polysaccharides from Aloe.
