Objective: To establish the fingerprint of Spatholobus suberectus by UPLC. Method: The UPLC-DAD method was performed on Aquity BEH C18 (2.1 mm×50 mm
1.7 μm)column with the gradient mobile phase of methanol (A) and 0.1% formic acid (B) solution at flow rate of 0.4 mL·min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm. The column temperature was 30 ℃. Eighteen samples from various places were analyzed.Clusters analysis and principal component analysis(PCA) were applied to study the chemical pattern recognition of UPLC fingerprints. Result: Ten samples were selected to establish the common pattern of S. suberectus. Conclusion: The method provides a fast
simple and comprehensive method for the quality control of S. suberectus.
