Objective:To develop an HPLC method for the content determination of calycosin-7-0-β-D-glucoside
prim-o-glucosyl cimifugin and 4′-O-β-D-glucosyl-5-O-methylvisammin in Yupingfeng Decoction and related drug pieces
and study the correlation of content in Radix Astragali
Radix Saposhnikovlae and Yupingfeng Decoction. Methods:A Hypersil ODS column was used with acetonitrile-water as a mobile phase(gradient elution) and detecting at 254 nm. The flow rate was 1 mL·min

and column temperature was 30℃. Results:The extraction percentages of calycosin-7-0-β-D-glucoside in Radix Astragali
prim-o-glucosyl cimifugin and 4′-O-β-D-glucosyl-5-O-methylvisammin in Radix Saposhnikovlae were 45.58%~63.35%
45.01%~65.09%
53.62%~87.75%. Conclusions:There is a correlation between the contents of and Yupingfeng decoctions and related drug pieces
and the different sources of drug pieces cause a variable for extraction percentage
which provides a reference for the material base of Yupingfeng Decoction.
