Abstract
Objective:To develop an HPLC method for determination of ursolic acid in Hawthorn Leaves. Methods:The C
18 column with methanol-water-phosphorous acid (90∶10∶0.03) as the mobile phase was used. The flow rate was 0.5 mL·min
-1 and the detection wavelength was 220 nm. Results:The linear range of calibration curve was (0.982~9.82) μg·mL
-1 for ursolic acid (r= 0.999 8 ). The average recovery was 98.16% and the RSD was 0.58% (n=6). Conclusion:The method is simple
accurate and repeatable. It can be used for the quality control of Hawthorn Leaves.
