Objective:The contents in different samples and different parts of the beetle were determined to study the impact of processing blister beetle on the total cantharidin contents.Method:HPLC conditions were as follows:the mobile phase was methanol-water(23∶77);the column temperature was at 35℃;the flow rate was 1.0 mL.min-1;the detection wavelength was at 230 nm.Result: The total cantharidin contents determined were: unprocessed mylabris>blister beetle>mylabris(stir-frying with rice). The total contents of head
legs
inside and outside wings of blister beetle were 0.61%.Conclusion:For safety
the total cantharidin contents should be used to control the quality of blister beetle.
