Objective:To study on the content of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in different processed products and different years of growth of Ligustri Lucidi Fructus by RP-HPLC.Method: Kromasil-C18 column(4.6 mm × 250 mm
5 μm) was used for the determination with the mobile phase consisting of [methanol-acetonitrile(50∶ 50)]-0.1% H3PO4 solution(85∶ 15);pH was adjusted to 6.5 with TEA;detection wavelength was at 205 nm;column temperature was set at 25 ℃ with the flow rate of 1 mL.min-1.Result: The content of oleanolic acid in different processed products was arranged in order of: steaming > scalding > steaming drugs with rice wine > crude drugs;the content of ursolic acid in different processed products was similar;the content of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in different years of growth was arranged in order of: ten years > five years > two years.Conclusion: The content of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in Ligustri Lucidi Fructus was related to the processing method and the year of growth.
