Objective:To study the phase state of Danggui Buxue decoction.Method:The phase state of Danggui Buxue decoction was described by means of HPLC(for ferulic acid)
HPLC-ELSD(for astragaloside Ⅳ)
UV spectrophotometry(for total polysaccharides)
biuret method(for total protein) and laser diffraction technique(for particle size and particle size distribution)
in combination with optical phenomena.Result:In Danggui Buxue decoction
ferulic acid
astragaloside Ⅳ
total polysaccharide and total protein could be detected
particle size distribution was in the range of 50-100 nm
1 000 nm and above
and Tyndall phenomenon could be observed clearly.Conclusion:The phase state of Danggui Buxue decoction was composed of the true solution in homogeneous state
and colloidal solution
suspension or emulsion in heterogeneous state.Danggui Buxue decoction was a disperse system.
