Objective:To establish the HPLC-DAD-ELSD fingerprint of Ziziphi Spinosae Semen grown indif-ferent provinces and provide new methods for scientific evaluation and effectively controlling the quality of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae.Method:Fourteen Semen Ziziphi Spinosae samples from different provinces were determined by u-sing HPLC-DAD-ELSD technique.The software"similarity evaluation system for chromatographic fingerprint of Chi-nese material medical"was applied to analyze date

and established the mutual model.The similarity of chromatogram was evaluated with correlation degree.Result:There were fifteen common peaks of flavonoids and eleven common peaks of saponins in the fingerprint of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae.The established method is good for the separation of flavonoids and saponins from Semen Ziziphi Spinosae and simultaneous determination of the two differentcomponents in one sample injection.Conclusion:he method is workable to simultaneously determine flavonoids and saponins fin-gerprint from semen Ziziphi Spinosae
