Objective:To observe the effect of the Shenfu Yixin Granule on chronic heart failure rats.Meth-od:The chronic heart failure model was established by left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion.in sham op-eration group（n = 20） the sutures were passed under the left anterior descending coronary artery without ligation.After 8 weeks the chronic heart failure rats with the value of left ventricle ejection fraction（LVEF） < 50% were ran-domly assigned to 5 groups（n = 10 in each group）:model group

captopril group

losartan group

two groups of Shenfu Yixin Granule（5.475

21.9 g.kg-1.d-1）.All the medicine was given through gavage once a day for 4 weeks

the rats in model group and sham operation group were administered with equivalent water once a day for 4 weeks.After 4 weeks The LVEF was valued again with Color Doppler Ultrasound

Weighs were measured.The blood was collected to detection index.Result:Shenfu Yixin granule（21.9 g.kg-1.d-1） improved the LVEF obviously

lowered the left ventricular mass index（LVMI） serum ANP and

serum BNP.Conclusion:Shenfu Yixin granule can cure chronic heart failure evidently and may intervene ventricular remodeling.
