Objective:By studying the pharmacological effects and molecular mechanisms of Angelica sinensis in treating Alzheimer’ disease which based on its active compositions
in order to evaluate the A.sinensis’s multi-component
multi-channel
multi-target pharmacological characteristics
action spectra
molecular mechanisms in treating Alzheimer′s disease and offer the references and research ideas for innovative drugs.Method:The related references in recent years both at home and abroad about A.sinensis were analyzed
collated and summarized.Result:The causes of Alzheimer′s disease’s are complex;there is no special clinical drug to cure this disease in west-ern countries.As A.sinensis has many active compositions
and shows pharmacological effects to treat Alzheimer’ disease
this provide new ideas for clinical treatment of Alzheimer’ disease.Conclusion:As the studies on pharmacologi-cal effects and molecular mechanisms of A.sinensis in treating Alzheimer’ disease were usually focused on the single composition
the multi-component studies have little advancements
so we must do more researches in this respect
in order to provide references and research ideas for innovative drugs.
