Objective:To find a method to eliminate residual barium in Bubali Cornu neutralization solu-tion.Method:Residual barium in Bubali Cornu exact was detected by atomic absorption spectrometry

the exact was produced by concentrating and drying the neutralization solution which was produced by neutralizing the extracting sulfuric acid solution with barium hydroxide solution

the dosage of barium hydroxide solution was controlled by the pH.Result:Barium can not be detected when the pH was less than 3.20

and barium content increased with the pH value.Conclusion:Residual barium can be effectively eliminated by controlling pH of the neutralization solution.
