Objective:Noisome gel and conventional gel of Semen Strychni alkaloids extract（SSAE） were prepared.The comparative studies of transdermal diffusion in vitro and anti-inflammation were performed.Method: Noisome gel and conventional gel of SSAE were prepared and the Franz-diffusion cell was employed to compare noisome gel and conventional gel in vitro and their inhibition on acute inflammatory swelling by FCA.Result: SSAE noisome gel was pale yellow viscous gel.The accumulative permeation amount and permeation rate of noisome gel and conventional gel had no significant difference.Three doses of SSAE noisome gel（6.25
