Abstract
Objective:To develop an extraction technology for plantarenaloside from a Yi medicinal plant Incarvillea arguta.Method: Plantarenaloside was extracted with ethanol by refluxing
the condition of extraction was optimized by L9(34) orthogonal design method.The constituents of extracts were determined by HPLC.Result: The optimal extraction technology was using 25 folds of 75% ethanol as solvent and refluxing twice for duration of 1h each time.Conclusion: The present extraction technology is simple

cost-effective and high efficient for the extraction of plantarenaloside from Incarvillea arguta.
