Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of thymosin

Xuebijing and other Western drugs in combination therapy for multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.Method: Eighty patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome selected by the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups

40 cases each.Two groups were given thymosin α1 and low molecular weight heparin sc.Thymosin α1

1.6 mg/d;low molecular weight heparin

5 000 U/d.Observation group was additionally Xuebijing injection gtt

100 mL/d.Two groups were treated both for 14 days（2 courses）.Effects were evaluated.Result: The marked effective rate was 50%

total effective rate was 80% in observation group;for control group

markedly effective rate was 40%

total effective rate was 67.5%.Markedly effective rate
