and the inflammatory cells（lympho-cytes） in joint tissue was determineed.The expression levels of interleukin-1β（IL-1β）and interleukin-1R（IL-1R）and myeloid differentiation factor 88（MyD88） in joint tissue were assayed.Result: Each dose group of the Chinese medicines could significantly improve the dysfunction in rats and reduce the number of inflam-matory cells of joint tissues and inhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokines in the joint organization.Chinese medicine high-dose group was more effective than the colchicine group.Conclusion: The Qushi Chubi medicines can effectively inhibit the expression of inflammatory cells and the inflammatory cytokines in rats with acute gouty arthritis.It is the effective method for acute treatment of gouty arthritis.
