Objective: To develope an HPLC method for simultaneously determining benzoylmesaconitine

benzoylaconitine and benzoylhypaconitine in Fuzi Lizhong pills.Method: The Alltimate C18 column（4.6 mm×250 mm

5 μm） and Alltimate C18 guard column（7.5 mm×4.6 mm

5 μm） were used;the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-40 mmol · L-1 ammonium acetate（adjusted by ammonia pH value at 10.00±0.5） by gradient elutiou;the flow rate was 1.0 mL · min-1;the detection wavelength was set at 240 nm with column temperature at 35℃.Result: The good linear range of benzoylmesaconitine

benzoylaconitine and benzoylhypaconitine was 0.212-1.272 μg（r=0.999 6）

0.011 6-0.069 6 μg（r=0.999 7） and 1.035-6.210 μg（r=0.999 6）

respectively

and their average recoveries were 97.59%

98.81% and 98.37%

also with RSD of 1.90%

respectively.Their average recoveries were 98.18%

from Beijing Tongrentang pharmaceutical Co.The stability of benzoylmesaconitine

benzoylaconitine and benzoylhypaconitine was good during 8 h

respectively.Conclusion: The method is convenient

rapid and accurate

which can be used for the quality control of Fuzi Lizhong pills.
