Objective:To develop RP-HPLC method for the quantitative determination of two chromones in Fangfeng Tongsheng Wan.Method:The determination was performed on a kromasil C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) with methanol-acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid(24 ∶ 12 ∶ 64) as the mobile phase at the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm.Result:The calibration curves of prim-O-glucosylcimifugin and 4′-O-glucosyl-5-O-methylvisamminol were linear in the ranges of 0.012 5-0.250 μg and 0.010 8-0.216 μg(r > 0.999 9)
respectively.The average recoveries were over 96.75% with RSD lower 1.65 %.Conclusion:The method is simple
accurate
reproducible
and suitable for simultaneously determination of prim-O-glucosylcimifugin and 4′-O-glucosyl-5-O-methylvisamminol
and can be used for quality control of Fangfeng Tongsheng Wan.
