Objective:To establish a quantitative method for the determination of total flavonoids in Scoparia dulcis by UV-VIS spectrophotometry.Method: The effects of species
concentration
and dosage of chromogenic reagent were studied
and NaNO2-Al(NO3)3-NaOH colour reaction system was used for content determination of total flavonoids in Scoparia dulcis.Result: Using rutin as comparison sample
the detection wave length was set at 506 nm.There was good linear relationship during 4.8-96.2 mg · L-1(r=0.999 3).The average recovery rate was 103.71%(RSD 2.68%
n=6).Conclusion: The method is simple
rapid
accurate and can be used for the quantitative method of S.dulcis.
