Objective: To establish the chromatographic fingerprint analysis for the quality control of Radix et Caulis Ilicis Asprellae extract. Method: HPLC Methed was applied to establish the chromatographic fingerprint.The seperation was performed on a phnomenex Gemini C18(4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) with a gradient elution composed of methanol and 0.5% acetic acid.The column temperature was set at 25℃ and the flow rate was 1 mL·min-1
the detective wavelength was at 254 nm. Result: Under the above chromatographic conditions
the characteristic peak of fingerprint chromatographic of crude material of Radix et Caulis Ilicis Asprellae extract was composed of 10 chromatographic peaks through similarity analysis. Conclusion: The fingerprint chromatographic set up by HPLC is stable and repeatable
