Daion HP-20 macroporous resin were investigated by static adsorption-elution tests
single factor tests were adopted to optimize purification process of total tannins from J. mandshurica leaf with sample volume

detection wavelength was set at 760 nm. Result: AB-8 macroporous resin was selected
its optimal purification technology was as follows:the concentration of sample solution 2.672 g· L-1
sample volume of 250 mL
elution rate of 2 BV· h-1
washed impurity with 6 BV of water
collected 10 BV of 50% ethanol eluent;elution rate and purity of total tannins were 73.32% and 35.02%
respectively. Conclusion: AB-8 macroporous resin had goog separation performance for total tannin from J. mandshurica leaf
this optimized purification process was suitable for industrial production.
