Objective: The bacteriostatic effects of 53 Chinese antipyretic herbs against pseudomonas aeruginosa and their antibacterial difference were classified and confirmed by cluster analysis in order to instruct clinical administration. Method: Antibacterial effect of traditional Chinese medicine was ascertained by determination of diameter of inhibition zone K-band in liquid culture. Result: The cluster analysis showed that the classification of bacteriostatic Pseudomonas aeruginosa effects were not consistent with traditional classification of Chinese antipyretic herbs group. Conclusion: For the clinical prevention of P. aeruginosa infection
