Objective: To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of six indexes in Tongmai pill
provide reference for quality evaluation. Method: An Agilent ZORBAX SB-Aq chromatographic column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) was used. The mobile phase was acetonitrile-methanol-0.1%H3PO4 with flow rate of 1 mL·min-1. Column temperature set at 35 ℃. The wavelengths were 260 nm for strychnine

and salvianolic acid B
and 316 nm for ferulic acid. Result: Strychnine

and ferulic acid showed good linearity in the range of 0.037-1.097
