Objective: To investigate the chemical constituents in the aqueous extract of Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium. Method: The chemical constituents were isolated by several chromatographic methods
including silica gel
Sephadex LH-20 and preparative HPLC. Their structures were elucidated by their physical and spectral data. Result: Seven compounds were isolated
including one flavone C-glycoside
two flavanone glycosides
two polymethoxylated flavones
one meliacane and one disaccharide
and elucidated as follows:vicenin-2(1)
hesperidin(2)
narirutin(3)
nobiletin(4)
tangeretin(5)
limonin(6)
maltose(7). Conclusion: Compounds 1 and 7 were isolation from this species for the first time.
