Objective: To establish an HPLC multi-wavelength method for determination of mangiferin
paeoniflorin
prim-O-glucosylcimifugin
iquiritin
5-O-methylvisamminol
isoliquiritoside and glycyrrhizic acid in Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Tang. Method: Zorbax SB-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm
5 μm) was eluted with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.01% formic acid water in a gradient mode. The flow rate was 1 mL·min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 250 nm (mangiferin)
237 nm (paeoniflorin
prim-O-glucosylcimifugin
glycyrrhizic acid)
280 nm (iquiritin
4'-O-β-glucopyranosyl-5-O-methylvisamminol)
and 355 nm (isoliquiritoside). The column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃. Result: Mangiferin

accurate and highly reproducible and can provide basis for studying material base of Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Tang.
