Objective: To establish a method for determining the contents of ecliptasaponin C
ecliptasaponin IV
ecliptasaponin A
and echinocystic acid 28-O-β-D-glucoside in Eclipta Herba. Method: Samples were extracted with 50% MeOH
and the chromatographic separation was performed on Waters ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18column (2.1 mm×150 mm
1.7 μm)
with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-water at flow rate of 0.3 mL·min-1. PDA detection was carried out at a wavelength of 210 nm. The column was maintained at 30℃
and the injection volume was 5 μL. Result: The measured data showed that the recovery rate of the four compounds ranged from 95% to 105%
and their RSD values were all less than 3%. Conclusion: This method is simple
precise
and rapid
and could be used for the content determination of ecliptasaponin C
ecliptasaponin IV
ecliptasaponin A
and echinocystic acid 28-O-β-D-glucoside in Eclipta Herba.
