Objective: To quickly determine the moisture content in Amomi Fructus by using near infrared spectroscopy(NIRS) technology. Method: Vacuum drying method was used for determination of moisture content in samples of Amomi Fructus.Both standard normalization method and the second derivative method were used for the spectra pretreatment
combined with partial least squares(PLS) to establish near infrared quantitative analysis models for the moisture content of Amomi Fructus. Result: The internal cross-validation correlation coefficient (R2) in the calibration set of the established models
