Objective: Using the UHPLC-ESI-Q-TOF-MS/MS to analyze and identify the the main components in the water extract of Violae Herba. Method: The separation was performed on UHPLC Welch C18 column (2.1 mm×100 mm
1.7 μm)
with a mobile phase using water containing 0.1% formic acid (A) and acetonitrile (B) for gradient elution
the flow rate was 0.35 mL·min-1. Electrospray ion (ESI) source were applied for the analysis under the positive/negative ion mode
and the running time was 30 min. Result: Based on the standards of MS/MS and compared with the reference results
32 compounds
containing coumarins
flavonoids and organic acids were identified. Conclusion: The efficient separation ability of UHPLC and high sensitive detection of MS are used in this study
which will provide the evidences for evaluating the quality of Violae Herba
