Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and effect of Jinlida granule combined with Tongxinluo capsule on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes
glucose metabolism
lipid metabolism and levels of interleukin-6(IL-6) in serum of patients with non-proliferative retinopathy of type 2 diabetes. Method: The 62 patients with non-proliferative retinopathy of type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into two groups
and all of them were given with basic treatment. The control group (32 patients) were treated with calcium hydroxybenzene sulfonate capsule
and the treatment group (30 patients) were treated with Jinlida granule combined with Tongxinluo capsule on the basis of control group. After 12 weeks

and the HDL-C was significantly increased in both groups after treatment
and the treatment group were better than control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Jinlida granule combined with Tongxinluo capsule has a significant therapeutic effect on non-proliferative retinopathy of type 2 diabetes
and the mechanism may be related to regulating glucose and lipid metabolism
improving insulin resistance and reducing serum inflammatory factors.
