Objective: Study the dynamics mode of transdermal absorption of Fufang Chansu Zhengtong (CSZT) cataplasm and the effect of azone on transdermal absorption in order to improve the effect of CSZT cataplasm. Method: Using Franz diffusion pool
with the penetration amounts of cinobufagin and resibufogenin in CSZT cataplasm at different times as the index
a michaelis-menten kinetics mode about transdermal absorption was obtained. Result: Azone could significantly improve the absorption rate and the absorbing capacity of cinobufagin and resibufogenin across the mice skin. The two components presented different absorption rate
absorbing capacity and mode of dynamics with different azone. Conclusion: Azone at 3% can remarkably increase the absorption rate and the absorbing capacity of cinobufagin and resibufogenin across the mice skin.
